Small Group Personal Training

Training in a small group of people  can have a massive benefit for people who  have difficulty motivating themselves to get to the gym. Having the support and camaraderie of your fellow small group trainees has proven results as it gets you familiar with all kind of exercises and equipment,  giving you the opportunity to learn proper technique and form under the careful guidance of a qualified Personal Trainer.

These sessions are designed to be run in the same manner as a personal training session. Each participants needs are individually catered for within the group.

Groups are capped at four participants and can be run at your home or workplace for you and up to three friends/colleagues.

Bootcamp

Boot Camps are a fun participant style of workout that are designed to build strength and fitness through a variety of group workouts.  With a mix of intense intervals and active recovery using body weight and free weights in an obstacle style set up, they are a great way to mix up your exercise regime and shock the body out of its comfort zone.

Like all our workouts at HIIT AND RUN, the focus is on inclusiveness with regressions for those who are new to exercise or in  need of  taking things a bit easy.

Functional Training and strength circuits

Functional Training assist individuals to perform the actions of daily life to more effectively and efficiently build strength, power, mobility and core strength to aid in all daily movements.

Functional training uses all three planes of movement, frontal, side to side and rotational with exercises that focus on movements such as, pushing, pulling, lifting, stepping, walking, crawling, jumping, squatting etc which have crucial benefits in the prevention of injuries.

HIIT (high intensity interval training)

It is deemed as one of the most time efficient ways to exercise with proven results that you may burn 25%-30% more calories than other forms of exercise. HIIT can produce health benefits similar to twice as much moderate-intensity exercise.

METAPWR

METAPWR RESISTANCE AND BODYWEIGHT

 

MetaPWR is a 30 minute circuit class that combines resistance and bodyweight exercises to target and develop strength, power, agility and cardiovascular efficiency.

MetaPWR develops strength and power not from traditional gym strength training but by carefully selecting equipment that will offer both resistance and explosive/ballistic exercises.  Combining this with plyometric and non plyometric bodyweight exercises promotes muscle adaption and growth, heightens your metabolic rate, and helps burn body fat.  The use of weighted equipment also helps with bone density.
